  • Provision of Legal Advisory Services on the Homa Hills Geothermal Power Project: Advising a Kenyan company in its ongoing negotiations with potential investors intending to invest in the company’s intended implementation of a 70 MW Homa Hills Geothermal Project.
  • Advised on the development, operation and maintenance of a 300-bed private hospital by Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) (the largest national referral, teaching and research hospital in East Africa) proposed to be undertaken as the first health sector public private partnership (PPP) project.
  • Undertaking a legal audit on Total Energies Marketing PLC (Total) which entailed undertaking a comprehensive review of the statutes and regulations impacting on Total, undertaking a financial, operational and legal review on Total and preparing a report based on the findings.
  • Undertaking a legal audit on Kenya Shell Limited (Shell) which entailed undertaking a comprehensive review of the statutes and regulations impacting on Shell, undertaking a financial, operational and legal review on Shell and preparing a report based on the findings.
  • Undertook the legislative review and tracking of all national and county government laws and regulations relevant to the energy sector in Kenya that affect Tullow Oil BV Kenya Limited.
  • Kenya Health Bill (now Kenya Health Act, 2017): MMC was part of the legal team that reviewed the Kenya Health Bill which was later passed to law.
  • Hawkers Bill, 2018: MMC was selected to provide transaction advisory services for drafting a bill of Parliament to provide a legal framework for the recognition, protection and regulation of street vending in Kenya, the identification of minimum standards for street vending and for connected purposes.
  • Tullow Oil BV Kenya Energy and Petroleum Bills: Undertook the legislative review advised Tullow Oil BV Kenya on the Energy Bill and Petroleum Bill and submitting memoranda with proposed amendments.
  • ICT Practioners Bill, 2016: MMC undertook the legislative review and advised on the draft ICT Bill from the National Assembly and the Senate
