Edward Muriu Kamau is the Founding Partner of the firm, and is currently serving as a member of the 13th parliament of the Republic of Kenya in the National Assembly representing Gatanga Constituency. Through Edward’s leadership, the firm has evolved and grown into a commercial law practice powerhouse globally. He has played a pivotal role in building the firm’s reputation and client base across the world.
Edward is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 30 years’ experience in practice and an Accredited Governance Auditor. Peter Munge is the Senior Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution and Recoveries (DRR) Department at MMC ASAFO. He is the immediate former Managing Partner of the firm, formally MMC Africa Law.
Peter has over 24 years’ experience in the legal profession with extensive experience and specialty in legal due diligence and commercial litigation matters with an emphasis on commercial disputes, labour disputes and public procurement disputes. He also has experience in alternative dispute resolution, legislative drafting and Estate’s planning and administration.
In the course of his Legal Career, Peter Munge has tackled various complex litigation matters that touch majorly on Constitutional and Employment and Labour Laws. He has assisted numerous high-profile institutions in drafting rules and amendments of various Acts of Parliament.
Peter Munge has been consistently ranked by Chambers and Partners, from 2019-2023, who praise him “for his knowledge of public procurement and commercial disputes,” as well as being “an excellent mediator.” He is also described as a “workhorse” and “an energizer,” adding that “he is always thinking about the client and how to best move forward.”

As a litigation lawyer, Kenneth Wilson has represented clients in a wide range of legal disputes, including contract disputes and employment law matters. Mr. Wilson has a proven track record of achieving favourable outcomes for clients through both settlement negotiations and trials.
Kenneth has successfully represented Safaricom PLC in notable matters the most recent one being in an Intellectual Property claim that touches on the novelty of Near Field Communicators (NFC) technology being used in the world-renowned mobile money transfer platforms Mpesa using a product called Mpesa 1Tap.
Mr Kenneth Wilson, was the lead counsel, successfully represented the Amref in the mediation proceedings. The dispute involved the claim over ownership of property situate at Wilson Airport, situated in Nairobi. The parties agreed to compromise the claim, allowing the Flying Doctors Society of Africa to be tenants on the property, while AMREF is the duly registered owner. The matter was valued at KES 200 Million.
Mr Kenneth Wilson has been representing Ambassador Ngethe Njoroge, from 2021, in a dispute with Sigimo Enterprises and Afriland Investments Limited. The dispute revolved around a breach of a joint venture agreement, for the construction of apartments. The Plaintiff is claiming KES. 75 million as special damages for the breach of contract.
Further, from 2021, Mr. Kenneth has been representing African Banking Corporation (the Bank) in the dispute arising from the breach of contract arising from the advance of a loan to Misha Investments Limited (Misha) for the sum of KES. 130 million.
Kenneth was part of the team that undertook a legal audit on the Proposed Public Private Partnership between Kenya Airports Authority and Kenya Airways, of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

We developed a master declaration of covenants restrictions and easements which will at as the constitution of the entire city to ensure that the development controls envisaged by our client will continue to bind the users of the cities and enhance its viability. I am currently handling the end user sales and registration of leases with a specific bias to residential land sales.Key advisor for Oaklands Properties Kenya Limited who works closely with different government stakeholders at the county offices, Ministry of Lands and Surveys of Kenya to ensure that the conversion of the Oaklands properties is undertaken in accordance with the provisions of the recently enacted legislations. Angela also represents Oaklands and its affiliated companies in the sales of the units to end users.

As part of corporate advisory, she was part of the team that prepared compliance manuals for Tatu City Limited for their three utility companies, Tatu Telecom Company, Tatu Power Company and Tatu Water Company and is currently part of the team preparing standard operating procedures for the public organization mandated to oversee data processing operations in Kenya.
